SUNDUS ABDUL HADI

This video was shot in Birzeit, Palestine, with these three bright souls from the Birzeit Refugee camp. They were giving their personal reflections to my painting “Majbooreen Bil Amal”.

For this painting, I collaborated with my sister Tamara Abdul Hadi, who’s photographs of the central figures grace the work. This is a piece about hope, imagination, and freedom. It can be set in Palestine, Iraq, or anywhere in the world where walls separate the people, and children must dream of a brighter future.
